BROADCAST'S EVOLVING RELEVANCE
With the NBC network celebrating its 70th anniversary, we are reminded that television and radio are legacy mediums. So much so, that they are occasionally referred to as dinosaurs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Unlike dinosaurs, broadcast has evolved to remain relevant.
Alabama Broadcasters Association President Sharon Tinsley will remind us of some significant milestones in broadcast history but, more importantly, will show us the horizon.
In addition, she will talk about local broadcasters' roles in journalism as purveyors of the truth.
For more information, contact Meredith Cummings before noon on Wednesday, March 8, at email@example.com or call her at 205-329-0411.
